Serial Modems

Elpro's Serial Modems allow the wireless connection of RS232/485, transmitting serial data between and field devices such as PLC's, datalogger, transducers, etc. Elpro's serial modems can operate in either broadcast or controlled mode with each unit acting as both a modem and repeater for other modems in the network.
An I/O capabilty may be incorporated when the modem range is combined with the 115S serial expansion products.

The 455Uand 805U-D radio modems transmit serial or Ethernet data via radio, providing a wireless link between intelligent devices.

• Single hop distance 5Km line-of-sight unlicensed, 40km licensed (455U)
