What is the solution? Firstly, do not underestimate the value of proper planning. Most WLAN bands have several channels and selecting an unused channel is important step in avoiding interfering signals. However, the established 2.4GHz band has become so crowded that this is sometimes not possible. And it’s not only WLAN devices that are using the 2.4GHz band – items such as cordless telephones and Bluetooth devices are often contending for the same space.
